It has been thirteen years since South African home-grown company, ATM Solutions, opened its doors with the aim to bring fully serviced, conveniently located and reliable ATMs to more areas in the country. Committed to achieving its goal of bringing banking to the people, Africa’s leading independent deployer and operator of ATMs today celebrated the opening of its 7th branch, which has been up and running since November last year and is situated in Witbank in the Mpumalanga region.

ATM Solutions announced today that Mercantile Bank has extended its initial five year ATM sponsoring agreement with a further five years. “It therefore gives us great pleasure to announce that we will continue to operate and deploy a number of Mercantile sponsored ATMs across South Africa on their behalf,” says Wayne Abramson, CEO of ATM Solutions - the first and largest independent deployer and operator of ATMs in Africa.

Bank Windhoek, a leading bank in Namibia, extended its initial five year ATM sponsoring agreement with ATM Solutions Namibia (Pty) Ltd for a further three years. “In a world where cash is king and safety and convenience of paramount importance, strategically placed ATMs maximise the consumer’s banking experience. ATM Solutions announced today that the company will be deploying Bank Windhoek’s 200th ATM in June this year – a mere five years after ATM Solutions installed Bank Windhoek’s first cash express ATM in August 2006.
